Google’s “Chrome” has an incognito mode which allows avoiding a history being created.
This mode also automatically kills all cookies for the incognito session automatically right after you close the incognito window.
By default, “Chrome” does not start in this mode and you have to open a second “Incognito” window through the options menu (tool icon).

I found a free QRCode reader for Windows Mobile.
This is nice for websites supporting it.
You capture the image with your phone camera and it decodes the url automatically, you don’t have to type anything.
